Manifest hypothyroidism can present with a variety of symptoms that mask other diseases, such as cardiovascular pathology. In patients with type 2 diabetes, hypothyroid symptoms can be even more confusing, complicating diagnosis and treatment. This case
underscores the need to consider hypothyroidism when analyzing patients with cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes.
