Abstract

Back pain affects up to 80% of the population aged 20–50 years [3, 6]. It is the second most common reason for visiting a doctor after respiratory illness and the third most common reason for hospitalization.
Degenerative diseases of the spine (DSD) occupy the first or second place in terms of disability of the adult population, along with the pathology of the cardiovascular system. DZD are the most common diseases that have a significant impact on the quality of life [7].
To date, a large number of methods for the treatment of DSD and herniated intervertebral discs (IVD) of conservative and operative directions have been proposed. One of the areas of treatment for DZP is the puncture effect on the IVD (" needle technique "- in the English literature) [2]. Currently, this is a whole group of effective and low-traumatic options for the treatment of neurological disorders in IVD hernias. These techniques are a continuation of conservative treatment with its insufficient effectiveness and the absence of absolute indications for open operations [4,8 Various physical factors are used to influence the IVD during puncture treatment, and laser exposure is one of the most promising [9].
